About me

Hi! I’m Thomas Sollie and within SCANNER I will be working on the influence of genes on autism. Specifically, I will be looking at differences between the sexes, such as genetic susceptibility, and differences in autistic traits. We hope to elucidate on whether women are genetically less likely to develop autism, or whether women express autistic traits differently such that an adequate diagnosis and their wants and needs go overlooked. To answer such questions we will be working in collaboration with various partners including the Nederlands Autisme Register (NAR), Nederlands Tweelingen Register (NTR) and Simons Powering Autism Research (SPARK).
