About us
Bart Knottnerus is a general practitioner (GP) and leads the research program General Practice Care at the Netherlands Institute for Health Services Research (Nivel). Health equity and mental health are important research themes within this program. As a GP, Bart knows the healthcare issues with respect to sex differences in autism from daily practice. By combining his research and practice experience in the SCANNER project he aims to improve healthcare for all people with autism.
